Global Love Feast Day22nd November 2001 This is a day dedicated to sharing love, being happy, content and at peace with the world. This is a day to tell your family that you love them - go on, blow their socks off with a few kind words and praise instead of "pick your clothes up off the floor!" and "who put the empty milk carton back in the fridge!". How would you feel if your kids said "I love you, thanks for your love and care"? How would you feel if your sister/brother said "I love you - share my things"? How would you feel if your mum/dad said "I love you for who you are". This is a day to make love with your partner, spouse, lover - get out your favourite "toys" and have a feast of love. Make this a special day to make time for yourselves together and enjoy each other's love. Do you remember how good you felt after a romantic weekend dedicated to love? Wouldn't you like to feel that again? Isn't it worth making an effort for love? This is a day to smile at every stranger - how good would you feel if everyone smiled at you on the way to work? How would your day be if all the people you interacted with were happy and smiling? This is a day to love yourself most of all - go on you can do it - look in a mirror, smile your biggest smile and tell yourself "I LOVE YOU". You're worthy of all the love you can give. Make this a special day for you. We can do all of these things all of the time, but think if for one day we can all put aside worries, concerns, fears, inhibitions, hate and focus on love.... How would that feel if we all tried this LOVE thing at the same time? Would we all feel different afterwards? Join in a LOVE FEAST on a global scale and feel the difference that love can make.
