Global Love Day was initiated in 2004 by The Love Foundation

On the 1st of May, communities in many countries around the world come together to share global unconditional love. This loving community is now spreading ever wider as people recognise and become aware of the need for an approach in life that promotes random acts of kindness, generosity and unconditional love.

to one's self, to others and to all living things

Ask your Council, Mayor, Community Leader to endorse GLOBAL LOVE DAY on the1st May with a proclamation (view example)

Community Events

• Tea and TLC - Host an Afternoon Tea for the Handicapped/Elderly and give some respite for their carers
• Organise a Group Hug - challenge the record books or have a happy time learning to hug and re-connect
• Get together some Massage Angels - give out gentle neck/shoulder massages to passers-by
• Hold a Community Concert of local musicians/artists/entertainers celebrating with a theme of love
• Clean up litter and rubbish in your community and give love to the environment
• Paint a mural with the theme of love
