The following
are techniques you can use within your organisation to relieve
stress or promote a happy attitude in your work environment.

Technique
Is
your workplace a happy environment to work in?
Do you see
a lot of miserable faces everyday, dragging themselves around
the office, or merely functioning with no light behind the eyes?
This technique
(or game) is one which can lighten the load and lift everyone's
energy.
First you'll
need a badge - something bright and cheerful looking. Feel free
to download one of the images on his page (or get creative and
design your own) and use it to make yourself a "Happy Person
Badge".
Once
you have your badge, give it to the person who looks the most
miserable.
The rules
are simple:
1) The person
must wear the badge all day.
2) No-one
must saying anything negative to that person while they are wearing
the badge and it works even better if people can find positive
things to say to them. They basically have a whole day of "positive"
energy directed at them.
3) At the
end of the day, the now "Happy Person" chooses the next
recipient, based upon who they think needs it the most.
This technique/game
works best where everyone within the group knows the rules, but
questions like "why are you wearing that badge?" will
quickly bring the opportunity to enlighten others that you meet
along the way.
