Prayer for the World

I pray that other voices will join mine in my prayer -

That the leaders of nations will rise above self interest and fear,
To find agreement and union in a solution to our troubled times.

Without bowing to tyranny or turning their back on the oppressed,
Without creating more fuel for anger and rage,
And which restores harmony and balance for all people,
Of all nations,
Of all colours,
Of all creeds.
